The D.O.C., born Tracy Lynn Curry on June 10, 1968, in Dallas, Texas, is an American rapper, songwriter, and producer. He began his career as a member of the group Fila Fresh Crew before becoming known as a solo artist. He is particularly known for his 1989 album "No One Can Do It Better," which went platinum. He worked closely with N.W.A and Dr. Dre and Eazy-E. Despite suffering serious injury to his vocal system in a car accident, he continued to influence the hip-hop scene as a songwriter and producer.
