The Cardigans

The Cardigans are a Swedish rock band formed in 1992 in Jönköping, Sweden. The band's members are Nina Persson (vocals), Peter Svensson (guitar), Magnus Sveningsson (bass), Bengt Lagerberg (drums), and Lars-Olof Johansson (keyboards). The band gained international fame with the album "Life" in 1995, and even more so with "First Band on the Moon" in 1996, which featured the major hit "Lovefool". The music of The Cardigans is characterized by a mix of pop and rock influences, often with a melodic and dreamy feel.
