Redbone

Redbone is an American rock band formed in 1969 by brothers Pat and Lolly Pena, two artists of Mexican and generally Native American descent from the Yaqui tribe. The band is best known for their hit "Come and Get Your Love," released in 1974, which remains popular to this day. The name "Redbone" comes from the slang term for individuals of mixed racial heritage. They were one of the first bands with Native American heritage to achieve commercial success in the music industry. Their music combines elements of rock, funk, and various influences from the traditional music of Native Americans.
