Nacha Pop

Group
Nacha Pop was a Spanish rock band formed in 1978 in Madrid. It initially consisted of cousins Nacho García Vega and Antonio Vega, as well as Carlos Brooking and Ñete. The band became known during the "Movida Madrileña" music movement of the 1980s and had a significant impact on the youth of the time. Their song "La chica de ayer" became their trademark and is one of the most iconic songs of Spanish pop and rock music. Nacha Pop disbanded in 1988, but in 2007 they reunited for a tour and released new material. Antonio Vega passed away in 2009, leaving a significant legacy on the Spanish music scene.
