Mecano

Mecano was a Spanish pop band formed in Madrid in 1981. It consisted of Ana Torroja as the lead singer and the brothers Nacho and José María Cano. The band became known for its contribution to the Movida Madrileña, a cultural movement of the 1980s in Madrid. Their music was influenced by various genres such as pop, rock, and electronic music, and the band enjoyed great success both in Spain and internationally. Some of their big hits include songs like "Hijo de la Luna," "Mujer contra mujer," and "La fuerza del destino." The band disbanded in 1992.
