Lita Ford is a famous American guitarist, singer, and songwriter, known primarily as a member of the influential rock band The Runaways during the 1970s. Born in 1958 in London and raised in the United States, Ford began her solo career in the 1980s, transitioning from punk rock to heavy metal. She released several successful albums, most notably "Lita" in 1988, which included the hits "Kiss Me Deadly" and "Close My Eyes Forever," a duet with Ozzy Osbourne. Lita Ford is considered a pioneer of female presence in the rock and heavy metal scene and continues to influence new generations of artists.
