Linkin Park is an American rock band formed in 1996 in Agoura Hills, California. The founding members include Mike Shinoda, Brad Delson, and Rob Bourdon, who were joined by Joe Hahn, Dave "Phoenix" Farrell, and Chester Bennington. The band gained international recognition with their debut album "Hybrid Theory" in 2000, which went multi-platinum. Combining elements of nu-metal, rap rock, and alternative music, Linkin Park has been recognized for their innovative approach and the emotional intensity of their music. In the following years, they released several successful albums, constantly evolving their sound. The sudden loss of Bennington in 2017 caused deep sorrow among fans, but the band continues to have a significant influence on the music scene.
