Lamb Of God is an American heavy metal band from Richmond, Virginia, formed in 1994. The band's original name was Burn the Priest, but in 1999 the name was changed to Lamb Of God. The band consists of Randy Blythe (vocals), Mark Morton (guitar), Willie Adler (guitar), John Campbell (bass), and Art Cruz (drums). Known for their aggressive style and sociopolitical lyrics, they have released numerous albums and have established themselves as one of the leading forces in the new wave of American heavy metal.
