L7
Group
L7 is an American rock band formed in Los Angeles in 1985 by Donita Sparks and Suzi Gardner. Known for their powerful sound and influence on the grunge scene, L7 gained significant fame in the 1990s. The band stood out both for their music and their active political stance on rights issues, including the Rock for Choice campaign supporting women's right to choose. Some of their most well-known tracks are "Pretend We're Dead" and "Shove." With a strong DIY aesthetic and an uncompromising feminist discourse, L7 have written their own history in the punk and alternative rock music scene.
