Kings of Leon is an American rock band formed in 1999 in Nashville, Tennessee. The band consists of brothers Caleb, Nathan, Jared, and their cousin, Matthew Followill. Their musical style was initially influenced by Southern rock, garage rock, and blues, while they later developed a more polished, alternative rock sound. In 2003, the band released their debut album, "Youth & Young Manhood," receiving positive reviews. They became internationally known with the 2008 album "Only by the Night," which included the hit singles "Sex on Fire" and "Use Somebody." Kings of Leon have won several awards, including Grammy Awards, and continue to be an influential force in the rock music scene.
