Howlin' Wolf, born as Chester Arthur Burnett on June 10, 1910, in White Station, Mississippi, was one of the most influential blues artists of the 20th century. His powerful and imposing voice, combined with his charismatic stage presence, established him as one of the leading names in Chicago blues. He collaborated with great musicians such as Willie Dixon and Muddy Waters and recorded classic songs like "Smokestack Lightning" and "How Many More Years." Howlin' Wolf died on January 10, 1976.
