The Fugees are an American musical group that was formed in 1992 in New Jersey. Consisting of Lauryn Hill, Wyclef Jean, and Pras Michel, the Fugees are known for their unique blend of hip hop, reggae, and soul music. Their second album, "The Score" (1996), achieved significant commercial success and included the famous single "Killing Me Softly." The group is also known for the social and political themes in their lyrics. Although they disbanded in 1997, their influence on the music scene remains strong.
