Foo Fighters are an American rock band formed in 1994 in Seattle by Dave Grohl, former drummer of Nirvana. Initially a unique musical project, Foo Fighters evolved into a full band, consisting of Grohl (vocals, guitar), Nate Mendel (bass), and Taylor Hawkins (drums) until his death in 2022.
