Enya, born as Eithne Pádraigín Ní Bhraonáin on May 17, 1961, in Gweedore, Ireland, is an Irish singer, composer, and musician known for her unique style that combines Celtic musical tradition with contemporary influences. She began her career with the family band Clannad before starting a solo career in the 1980s. She has released numerous albums, most notably "Watermark" and "A Day Without Rain," which have won numerous awards and recognition worldwide. Her music is characterized by ethereal vocals and rich sound layers, making her one of the most successful female artists of the 20th century.
