Dr. Feelgood was a British rhythm and blues and rock and roll band, formed in 1971 on Canvey Island, Essex. Known for their energetic stage presence and simple, strong melodies, Dr. Feelgood was one of the most influential artists of the "pub rock" scene in the 1970s. Their most famous lineup included singer Lee Brilleaux, guitarist Wilko Johnson, bassist John B. Sparks, and drummer John Martin. The album "Stupidity", released in 1976, reached the top of the British charts, while the song "Roxette" is one of their most distinctive tracks. After many lineup changes, the band continues to play to this day, honoring their musical legacy.
