The Dead Boys were an American punk rock band formed in 1976 in Cleveland, Ohio. The original members of the band were Stiv Bators (vocals), Cheetah Chrome (lead guitar), Jimmy Zero (rhythm guitar), Jeff Magnum (bass), and Johnny Blitz (drums). The Dead Boys were known for their energy and unconventional approach to music, as well as their dynamic live performances. Their debut album, "Young, Loud and Snotty," was released in 1977 and is considered one of the classic works of the punk rock scene. The band disbanded in 1979, with some sporadic appearances since then.
