Country Joe & The Fish
Group
Country Joe & The Fish was a psychedelic rock band from Berkeley, California, formed in 1965. It is considered an important part of the U.S. counterculture movement of the '60s. The band combines rock music with social and political messages, particularly opposition to the Vietnam War. They became widely known for the song "I-Feel-Like-I'm-Fixin'-to-Die Rag," which became a symbol of the anti-war movement, and they played at the legendary Woodstock festival in 1969.
