Coti Sorokin (born Roberto Fidel Ernesto Sorokin Esparza) is one of the most influential Argentine songwriters and producers in the contemporary Latin American music scene. Born in Rosario, Argentina, Coti managed to establish himself not only as a solo artist but also as the "invisible" creator behind some of the biggest hits in the Spanish-speaking world. His career took off in the early 2000s when he moved to Spain, where he recorded his first major personal success, the album Coti (2002). Coti continues to be extremely active, touring and holding concerts around the world, from Argentina to Spain and Uruguay. His music is characterized by a combination of pop/rock melodies and lyrics that touch on everyday emotions, making him one of the most beloved artists of his generation.
