Cocteau Twins were a Scottish band formed in 1979 in Grangemouth, by Elizabeth Fraser, Robin Guthrie, and Will Heggie. Known for their dreamy sound and Fraser's ethereal vocal melodies, they played a key role in the creation of the dream pop genre and influenced numerous artists worldwide. Through the production of albums such as "Treasure" and "Heaven or Las Vegas", Cocteau Twins established themselves as one of the most innovative bands of the 1980s and early '90s. In 1997, the band officially disbanded, leaving behind a significant legacy.
