Celtic Frost was a Swiss metal band, founded by Thomas Gabriel Fischer (also known as Tom Warrior) and Martin Eric Ain in 1984. Celtic Frost is considered one of the most influential bands in extreme metal, with their influence extending into black metal, death metal, and other subgenres. The band achieved success with albums like "Morbid Tales," "To Mega Therion," and "Into the Pandemonium." Although the band disbanded in 1993, they reformed in 2001 and released "Monotheist" in 2006, before disbanding again in 2008. Celtic Frost is known for their experimental approach to music and for shaping the sound of extreme metal.
