Buffalo Springfield

Buffalo Springfield was an American rock band from the 1960s, known for its influence on the folk rock and country rock music scene. They were formed in 1966 in Los Angeles and consisted of Stephen Stills, Neil Young, Richie Furay, Bruce Palmer, and Dewey Martin. The band is best known for the song "For What It's Worth," which became an anthem of the counterculture and social movements of the time. Although they lasted only two years, Buffalo Springfield left a significant mark on music history and contributed to the success of its members in subsequent solo careers.
