Black Grape

Black Grape is a British band, formed in 1993 by singer Shaun Ryder and guitarist Paul "Kermit" Leveridge, both former members of the Happy Mondays. The band is known for its unique blend of alternative rock with elements of hip-hop, funk, and electronic music. Their debut album "It's Great When You're Straight...Yeah" (1995) was a major success, reaching the top of the British charts. Black Grape is distinguished for their dynamic live performances and biting social lyrics. Although the band went through periods of disbandment, they reunited in 2010 and continue to release new music and tour.
