Big Black was an American noise rock band formed in 1981 by guitarist and singer Steve Albini. The band was distinguished for its heavy, aggressive sound and provocative themes. During their active years, they released several albums and EPs, including "Atomizer" and "Songs About Fucking," which have remained classics in the alternative rock scene. Their performances were characterized by intensity and passion, while Albini continued to have a significant impact on the music scene as a producer after the band's dissolution in 1987.
