Aztec Camera was a Scottish band formed in 1980 in Glasgow, with main member the songwriter and guitarist Roddy Frame. The band became known for their eclectic music that included rock, pop, and folk elements. They released their first album, "High Land, Hard Rain," in 1983, earning critical acclaim for their melodic compositions and witty lyrics. Throughout their career, Aztec Camera released many albums and songs that were successful in the United Kingdom and around the world, with "Somewhere in My Heart" being one of their most beloved tracks. Despite changes in the band's lineup, Roddy Frame remained their creative core, continuing to influence the British music scene. The band ceased operations in the 1990s, but left behind a significant musical legacy.
