Aphrodite's Child was a Greek rock band founded in 1967 and remained active until 1972. The band consisted of Vangelis Papathanassiou (keyboards), Demis Roussos (vocals, bass), and Loukas Sideras (drums). They are known for their pioneering mix of psychedelic and progressive elements in their music. Their album "666" is considered one of the most important works of progressive rock. Aphrodite's Child left an indelible mark on the international music scene, with tracks like "Rain and Tears" and "End of the World".
