Just A Crash by Cyanna
About the album Just A Crash
The Athenians Cyanna were a group of electronic music that combined many rock elements in their compositions. The twelve compositions of their second album titled Just A Crash, which was released in 2008, move in this musical style and their composers are Spyreas Sid and Nick Sid.
The great success of the album was Shine, which Vodafone used as a musical backdrop in its advertisements during the period 2009-2011. Another song that was promoted as a single was Like Fire, which was a cover of a song by the Australian Dubrovnicks from 1989. The album closes with a 38-second piece Just A Crash, which also gives the album its title.
The success of the album brought Cyanna to play at festivals in Germany, Switzerland, and Bulgaria. One more album and an EP followed, and in 2013 the group dissolved or rather changed composition and was named Cyanna Mercury.
