The Album by Black Machine
About the album The Album
The Album is the first full-length record by the Italian dance group Black Machine, initially released in 1992. The group, led by producer Pippo Landro, became globally known for its distinctive sound that combines house, funk, and jazz elements, dominating the clubs of the early '90s.
It contains the iconic track How Gee, which is based on saxophone and achieved massive worldwide success (reaching No. 17 on the UK charts). Other well-known tracks include Jazz Machine and Funky Funky People.
The album is considered a classic example of the Italo-House scene of that era, with prominent brass sounds and dance rhythms that remain popular in retro DJ sets.
