About the album The Living Legend
The Living Legend is a unique album by a unique artist. Baby Huey (James Thomas Ramey), born in the state of Indiana but raised in Chicago, Illinois, entered the studio in 1971 to record his first album, but died from drugs shortly before completing it.
Curtis Mayfield had entrusted him with three of his compositions, and it's worth listening to the nearly ten-minute cover of Sam Cooke's A Change Is Going To Come and Hard Times.
No one can know what the future would have held for Baby Huey.
