D.R.I. (Dirty Rotten Imbeciles), un grupo originario de Texas, presentó su quinto álbum en 1989, Thrash Zone. Thrash Zone fue el álbum que resonó más en comparación con todos sus otros trabajos.

Se realizaron dos vídeos musicales para Beneath The Wheel y Abduction para promocionar el álbum a través de MTV.

Thrash Zone alcanzó el No. 140 en el Billboard.
