Wings were an English rock band formed in 1971 by Paul McCartney after the breakup of the Beatles. The band included Linda McCartney and Denny Laine, among others. Wings enjoyed great success in the 1970s with many popular albums and singles, such as "Band on the Run," "Jet," and "Live and Let Die." The band was distinguished for its versatility and creativity, combining elements of rock, pop, and experimental music, before disbanding in 1981.
