Transvision Vamp were a British pop-rock band formed in 1986. The band became known for their dynamic and funky sound and their explosive lead singer, Wendy James. In 1988, they released their debut album "Pop Art", which included the successful single "I Want Your Love". With their second album, "Velveteen" in 1989, they reached the top of the British charts with the single "Baby I Don’t Care". Transvision Vamp disbanded in 1991.
