The Troggs
Group
The Troggs were an English rock band formed in 1964 in Andover, Hampshire. They are mainly known for the song "Wild Thing," which became an international hit in 1966. The band included singer Reg Presley, guitarist Chris Britton, bassist Pete Staples, and drummer Ronnie Bond. Their sound is often described as primitive and a good influence on garage rock, and their musical legacy includes hits such as "With a Girl Like You" and "Love Is All Around." The Troggs continued to influence the pop and rock music scene with the raw energy and simplicity of their style.
