The Prodigy
Prodigy is a British electronic music band, formed in 1990 in Basildon, England by Liam Howlett. They are known for their blend of genres such as rave, breakbeat, and big beat, with influences from punk and industrial music. The band became widely known with albums like “Music for the Jilted Generation” (1994) and “The Fat of the Land” (1997), which included hits such as “Firestarter” and “Breathe”. Their explosive live performances and strong stage presence, with the now late singer Keith Flint, contributed to their significant influence on the development of electronic dance music and establishing them as one of the most important bands of the genre.
