The Feelies
Group
The Feelies are an American alternative rock band formed in 1976 in Haledon, New Jersey. Their debut album "Crazy Rhythms" was released in 1980 and was recognized for its innovative approach, combining elements of punk, post-punk, and art rock. The founding members, Glenn Mercer and Bill Million, create complex and eccentric melodies accompanied by groundbreaking rhythms. The Feelies received favorable reviews both from critics and the public, influencing many bands in the alternative scene. Although the band disbanded in the early 1990s, they reunited in 2008 and continue to play and create music.
