Terry Hall was a British singer and songwriter, best known as the lead singer of the band The Specials. He was born on March 19, 1959, in Coventry, England, and became famous during the 2 Tone ska era in the 1970s and 1980s. The Specials were known for blending reggae and punk music, as well as for their political lyrics. After the dissolution of the band, Hall continued a successful career as a solo artist and collaborated with various musicians and bands, including Fun Boy Three and The Colourfield. Hall's influence on the music scene remains significant, particularly with regard to the ska movement.
