Steve Harley, born Stephen Malcolm Ronald Nice on February 27, 1951, is a British singer and songwriter, known as the lead singer and primary composer of the band Cockney Rebel. His significant career began in the 1970s when the band achieved success with songs such as "Make Me Smile (Come Up and See Me)." Harley also pursued a solo career, continuing to release music and tour. His influence on Glam Rock and the distinctive tone of his voice have left a strong mark on the British music scene.
