Stereophonics is a British rock band formed in 1992 in Cwmaman, Wales. The original member and singer of the band is Kelly Jones, who is also the main composer of the group. Stereophonics have gained a reputation for their dynamic live performances and their distinctive vocal signature. They released their first album "Word Gets Around" in 1997 and since then have released many successful records, winning numerous awards and reaching the top of the British charts. With well-known songs such as "Dakota" and "Maybe Tomorrow", Stereophonics continue to have an influence on the British rock scene.
