Slade
Slade is a British rock band that was formed in Wolverhampton in 1966. Although they initially started under the name The 'N Betweens, they emerged as Slade with the release of their debut album in 1969. The band consists of Noddy Holder (vocals, rhythm guitar), Dave Hill (guitar), Jim Lea (bass, keyboards), and Don Powell (drums). Slade became known in the 1970s for their dynamic live performances and a string of hits such as "Cum On Feel the Noize" and "Merry Xmas Everybody." They are considered pioneers of glam rock and influenced many other bands of the era. Their sound is characterized by energetic riffs and Holder's distinctive voice. Alongside their musical career, Slade also took part in films such as "Slade in Flame" in 1975.
