Sam Phillips
Sam Phillips, born on January 28, 1962, in Glendale, California, is an American singer-songwriter. Initially known by the pseudonym Leslie Phillips, she began her career in the Christian music scene in the 1980s. In 1988, she decided to use her name Sam Phillips and change her musical style, moving towards pop and rock directions. She was a close collaborator of producer T-Bone Burnett, and her music is often characterized by emotional and lyrical sensitivity. In addition to her music career, Phillips has also participated as an actress in television series and movies, and she has written music for the series “Gilmore Girls.”
