
N.W.A.
N.W.A. (Niggaz Wit Attitudes) was a groundbreaking American rap music group, formed in Compton, California, in 1987. It consisted of the members Eazy-E, Dr. Dre, Ice Cube, MC Ren, and DJ Yella. N.W.A. are known for their radical gangsta rap style and for the social and political critique presented in their lyrics. The 1989 album "Straight Outta Compton" is considered a landmark in rap music and was a significant influence on future generations of artists. Through their lyrics, N.W.A. brought the voice of the youth of the era who were experiencing police violence, racism, and social inequality. The group disbanded in the early 1990s.
