Neu!
Group
Neu! is a German Krautrock band, which was founded in 1971 by Klaus Dinger and Michael Rother after their departure from Kraftwerk. Neu! are known for their influential sound that combined electronic elements with rock music, creating the characteristic "motorik" rhythm. Although the band did not achieve great commercial success during its existence, their music significantly influenced many later bands, including David Bowie, Joy Division, and Stereolab. Neu! released three albums during the initial period of their collaboration, "Neu!" (1972), "Neu! 2" (1973), and "Neu! '75" (1975), which are considered classic and radical for their time.
