Montrose was an important rock band from the United States, known in the 1970s. Founded by guitarist Ronnie Montrose, the band stood out with its strong, energetic music and characteristic sound. They released their first self-titled album in 1973, which included classic tracks such as "Rock Candy" and "Bad Motor Scooter". Singer Sammy Hagar was one of the founding members, before continuing his career as a solo artist and member of Van Halen. Montrose's influence on the rock scene remains noticeable to this day, with the band being considered pivotal for the development of the genre.
