Incognito is an acid jazz band from the United Kingdom, formed in 1979 by guitarist and composer Jean-Paul "Bluey" Maunick. Incognito is known for their unique sound that combines jazz, funk, and soul elements, as well as for their dynamic live performances. Their debut album, "Jazz Funk", was released in 1981. Although there were periods of hiatus in their discography, the band gained significant prominence in the '90s with albums such as "Tribes, Vibes and Scribes" and "Positivity". They continue to create and tour worldwide, holding a significant position in the contemporary jazz scene.
