Albert King (April 25, 1923 - December 21, 1992) was one of the greatest American blues guitarists and singers. He is considered one of the "Three Kings of the Blues Guitar," along with B.B. King and Freddie King. Born in Mississippi, Albert King became renowned for his unique guitar prowess, playing a left-handed Gibson Flying V. King greatly influenced many blues and rock artists and was known for hits like "Born Under a Bad Sign." His strong, expressive voice and distinctive guitar technique left an indelible mark on the music scene, and his career spanned over four decades.
