About the album Here Are The Sonics
The musical reality of 1965 was not prepared for an album like Here Are The Sonics, which introduced a band of twenty-somethings from Tacoma, Washington.
In Here Are The Sonics, the listener witnesses a wild-raw attack on well-known hits of that era, such as Do You Love Me? or Roll Over Beethoven, accompanied by new compositions from the band like the legendary Strychnine.
The production (!) of the album was done by some gentlemen, Buck Ornsby and Kent Morrill. Punk owes a lot to this 1965 recording.
